UFC 107-PENN vs SANCHEZ

BJ Penn is the current lightweight champion ."The Prodigy" will defend his title December 12th against the challanger Diego"Nightmare"Sanchez.This is BJ Penn's first title defense after he defeated Kenny Florian with a Rear Naked Choke .



Another interesting match for me is the battle between for heavyweight champion Frank Mir and Cheick Kongo .They both lost the last matches they fought .Frank Mir lost to the current Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar ,and Kongo lost his match because he fought against the undeafeated Cain Velasquez .A win in this match for Frank Mir is important because he wants to fight again with Brock Lesnar .
He said:"The long-term goal for me and my own satisfaction is to take off Brock Lesnar's arm.When you go in the gym, you've got a certain goal that you're going for and going for. Not that he was, obviously, my next opponent, but to face him again was the long-term goal , the short-term goals being obviously Cheick and whoever else. Now I've just got to turn it around that the interim would be another short-term goal."



BJ Penn broke Diego Sanches ,in the 5th round ."The Prodigy" rocked Diego in the first round and almost finished the fight.He proved at UFC 107 why he his the lightweight champion.He countered everything,punches,takedown attempts .Diego had no chance to win this one.He's got the heart,the endurence,he's a good fighter ,but BJ Penn was better here.BJ Penn defeated Diego Sanches,he beat Diego the entire match.
And the former heavyweight champion Frank Mir did it.He chocked Kongo in the first round .He rocked hard Kongo in the first round and then finished the fight thanks to his skills.It was a great victory for Frank Mir,he wanted to make a statement and he did.He really want s to fight Brock Lesnar again to see if he is the better mma fighter.

UFC 106 - TITO ORTIZ vs FOREST GRIFFIN

Tito Ortiz will make his return to the UFC this Saturday.He will face Forest Griffin.Forest Griffin lost his last match to Anderson Silva.Now he wants to prove he's a tough fighter in the light heavyweight division,and to destroy Tito Ortiz.The last time they met Griffin lost the match at UFC 59.





Forest Griffin wants to forget about the match with Anderson Silva.He wants to move on,and the first step is to beat Tito Ortiz.I hope to see an interesting fight with these two former light heavyweight champions .

The return of Tito Otriz to the UFC was not that great.Griffin won the fight after 3 rounds .In the last round Griffin throwed a lot of fists and kicks,and Tito could not do anything about that.Griffin landed some good shots in the 3rd round.Tito's best moments were when he put Griffin to the ground and started to throw elbows.Griffin proved his one tough light heavyweight he can survive after a ground and pound ,and manage to have the energy for a 3rd round full of kicks and punches.
UFC 106 was interesting to see,becase Rogerio Nogueira made his fenomenal debut.He knocked out Luiz Cane in the first round .He won Knockout of the Night Honors.His debut in the UFC was great .Now I wonder who will be Little Nog's next opponent and when.

UFC 105 - RANDY COUTURE vs BRANDON VERA

Tonight Randy Couture will fight against Brandon Vera at 205 lbs.Couture drop to 205 lbs. for this fight after losing to Brock Lesnar and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in the heavyweight division.Bradon Vera hopes to defeat The Legend Randy Couture,and get a shot at the UFC light heavyweight title.





Randy Couture defeated Brandon Vera by unanimous decision.This main event was nothing like I expected.I wanted to see a fight and insted I watched a boring main event .The entire match the veteran,tried to take down Brandon Vera,using his wrestling.They clinched the entire match.If Brandon Vera would not have delivered those kicks,the match would have been a lot worse.When the match was over I believed the winner of the fight will be Vera ,but I am not the judge.I really liked Bisping's fight.It was great to watch,such a battle.After he was rocked in the first round,Bisping proved everyone,he's not done,the match is not over,he's got some good defense on the ground.And in the second round,he found out Kang is not that good if he takes him to the ground.And Bisping did exactly that,put Kang to the ground and finished the fight.It was a good victory for Bisping,after his loss to Henderson he really needed this win to prove everybody that the old Bisping is back.

FEDOR EMELIANENKO crushed Rogers

November 7th was a great night in the history of mma.Fedor Emelianenko fought against the undefeated at that time Brett Rogers .It was a nice fight.In the first round Rogers punched Fedor straight in the face with his left hand.With that punch,Rogers broke Fedor's nose causing him to bleed in the first round.After that Fedor started to punch his way through Rogers.Fedor ended on his back in the first round and while Rogers started to throw some punches punch,Emelianenko almost caught him in an armbar.In my opinion if Fedor was in the middle of the ring ,he would have cought Rogers in that armbar,and Rogers would have tapped-out.He could not turn to get the armbar because of the fence.In the second round Fedor watched Rogers legs movement,and when Rogers tried to swing a punch,but Fedor delivered a devastaing right punch to his chin and knocked the huge Brett Rogers of his feet,and finished the fight with a TKO .Fedor Emelianenko remains the best heavyweight in the world .
